(2) PANTHER SUMMER ENRICHMENT PART-TIME 1-6 TEACHER

1 Curriculum Teacher 1 Enrichment Teacher (hired per enrichment week)

Panther Care Mission:  To provide authentic experiences that enrich student achievement and inspire life long learing.

1-6 educational component will look like the current workshop model that is implemented at the Elementary School, focusing on literacy and mathematics.  Within he literacy workshop, there will be language, reading, and writing workshops.  Reading activities will include read aloud, independent reading, shared reading, guided instruction, guided writing, and discussion groups (45 minutes per day).

1-6 will also include a mathematics workshop with math investigations tied to math games that build and focus on number sense.  These lessons will be more about maintaining skills that students developed during the school year (45 minutes per day).

1-6 Enrichment Classes - Foreign Language, Culinary Arts, Art, Music, Drama, Technology, Athletics, Business, Agriculture.

Qualifications:  Appropriate certification.
