Please see the Tentative 2026-27 School Calendar. This calendar has been approved by the Regional Office of Education. There is one factor, explained below, lingering that causes us to release this as tentative.
There is a chance the governor will mandate Tuesday, November 3rd, Election Day, as a state holiday. That is not a decision made by ISBE, ROE #17, or locally. This has occurred in the previous gubernatorial and presidential election. At this time, that date is not a mandated holiday, but there are rumors circulating that it may happen. If that occurs, we will amend our calendar for that day to be a day off, which would make our final student attendance day May 26 and institute day May 27.
