Panther Families,

Spring has sprung!  With our return from Spring Break, we are entering the final stretch with the 4th quarter of the school year.  We have a very busy spring ahead with a lot of great things happening in LeRoy Schools.

Our Student Achievement

The elementary school PE department, led by Mrs. Sant Amour and Mr. Hageman, partnered with the American Heart Association for their annual AHA Kids Heart Challenge, commonly known as Jump Rope for Heart.  Thank you to everyone who participated and helped raise $16,815.60!  This brings the LES lifetime funds raised for AHA to $307,815.60.  Our representative from the AHA is always very complimentary and appreciative of our students, families, and staff.

Our Community Relations

Preschool Screenings are April 16th and May 19th 8:30am - 2:30pm at LeRoy Elementary School.  If you have a child who will turn 3 prior to September 1st, please contact our Elementary office to have your child added to our 2026-27 Preschool Screening List!

Our Facilities

Panther Night 2026 registration is LIVE on the Le Roy Panther Athletics & Co-Curricular Activities Facebook Page.  We are really excited this year as our proceeds will have a specific and impactful purpose, upgrading the weight room!  A big part of these upgrades are to help make the weight room more fitting for our entire student population, even those who are not in athletics, to utilize this space for their lifetime health and wellness during PE.  This year’s Panther Night will feature music bingo and lots of great prizes including baskets from local businesses, gift cards, LeRoy custom posters, gear, and cash prizes!

Our Finance

Check out our updated CSFT Transparency Dashboard on our district website.  This Dashboard is updated throughout the year, but has been recently updated to reflect real costs of upcoming projects and more accurate estimates of our CSFT revenue.

As a part of our CSFT commitment, we will continue to use 1/3 of the revenue to pay toward our bond and interest tax rate, which will lower the overall property tax rate each year.  In this first year, this has allowed the District to commit $257,374 toward property tax rate relief, which lowers the rate from $5.29 to $5.04.  LeRoy Schools are committed to continuing to work to provide property tax rate relief while also meeting the needs of our students and families.
